Read the history
Masjid Nimrah stands near where the Prophet (peace be upon him) rested at Namirah before delivering his sermon on the Day of Arafah in 10 AH. Part of the mosque lies in the valley of Uranah, which is outside the boundary of Arafat, and signs inside show the boundary.
Each year the Hajj sermon is delivered here and the Dhuhr and Asr prayers are joined.
