Opened by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the district was built to welcome visitors to Jabal al-Nour in comfort. Its centrepiece is the Revelation Exhibition, which tells the story of the revelation of the Qur’an and the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) through galleries and audiovisual displays.
The district also has walkways, shaded seating, cafes and viewing points of the Cave of Hira.
